Seventy8 recognises
and understands that every organisation or individual seeking to promote
themselves is unique in some way. Therefore the websites we create reflect
our clients' unique qualities and are tailored to best represent tthe
organisation or individual concerned. Sites created are visually
interesting and laid out in such a way that the person viewing them can
navigate easily and effectively,. as well as read information with
ease, to encourage them to come back time after time.
Many websites are not well laid out which means that a viewer's interest
will not be sustained and navigability is adversely affected. We understand
and closely follow industry developments, which can affect how sites
appear
to the end user. Here at Seventy8 we
prefer Firefox over Internet Explorer for many reasons. Also we are well
aware that a very low percentage of users have Apple MACs. Browsers on
this platform can experience a site differently to a Windows PC, not
to mention the other operating systems out in the wild. Statistically speaking Apple represent less than 4% of all users, however Macintosh
still has a firm hold in the creative design industry.
Firefox is available to Macintosh users.
Here are some examplesSeventy8 has
online.
The
sydbma website requirements were quite broad. The Sydney
Bicycle Messenger Association is a Sydney-based organisiation that is
not for profit outfit. They are hosting a world championship event
and their requirements and needs included a community forum and
accommodating the possibility of different level of users. The site
is a fully dynamic CMS (Content Management System) with the ability
to create breaking news items, allow certain users to edit pages and
allow for the posting of individual items on the fly. The site also hosts
banner ads of sponsors various games with the ability to retain high
scores. Also the site has a members' profile pages that is viewable
by other members. Attracting over 20000 unique hits in a year the site
is popular and functional with praise coming from local members and
various international viewers.
Earthdance is
also a not for profiit organisation. Its site is also a dynamic website
that is Australia wide with information about multiple events happening
all over Australia. The site's requirements are to have the ability to
be edited by different people in different states of Australia while
maintaining a local feel. This site in structure has not changed in several
years, however the look and images have been updated yearly.
A
kiosk feel was required for the Tourist
Publicity site. The site was
created as a "value added" feature that was free to clients.
The thinking behind the concept was to make it feel button-like and virtually
impossible to get lost within. The site was built in 1996 and still
remains essentially the same even after a
change of ownership of the business.
SEventy8 can
cater for everyone's needs from the simplest brochure style site to the
more sophisticated site incorporating Flash components. In essence
we create sites that reflect completely the look and feel of your business
or organisation, so that they are a perfect extension of it.
